I recently finished writing my first novel. I am wondering what you would charge to copyedit the first few chapters. I’m preparing them as a writing sample, and I’d love to get it as polished as I can. The first two chapters weigh in at 5,294 words (16 pages). Adding the third chapter gets the total up to 9,876 words (34 pages). You might not be interested in undertaking such a small job, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask.
